  • UG Courses- The minimum eligibility for admission in BSc in Zoology in Class 12 pass in Science Stream. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12.

  • PG Courses- Candidates must have passed BSc/BSc (Hons.) in Zoology. Candidates who have passed BSc/BA in medical and allied medical sciences/biosciences/ life sciences are also eligible to apply.

  • PhD Programmes- Post graduation in relevant discipline with 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates)

Top Entrance Exams for Zoology Courses

The admission for BSc courses in Zoology is based on the cut off list released by the university or college. Few universities also conduct entrance tests for admission. Candidates are admission in MSc courses based on Entrance exams. Admission to the PhD program is done based on entrance tests conducted nationally or by universities separately followed by Personal Interview. Some of the popular PhD entrance tests are UGC NET, CSIR, ICAR, etc.
